Popular Mechanics Shop Notes compendium magazine was published over 19 year, one issue every year.  The first volume was published in 1905 with one, new volume published every year until 1923.  In all, 19 volumes were published.

Each issue was introduced as a collection of articles, describing an "Easy Ways to Do Hard Things of Daily Use to Every Mechanic".  In total, about 10000 articles were published with 9062 illustrations on 4228 pages.
