Making and Using Tools

"Whenever I am visited in my workshop by a fellow woodworker, the conversation nearly always comes round to the making of tools.  It usually starts with the visitor politely asking how an ordinary craftsman can afford such tools.

There is no mystery to this.  I have made most of them myself.  Many of my friends have seen my efforts and followed suit;  I hope the reader will be able to do the same."
