The shape of the stamp is an arch.  This shape appears to precede the "worm" design, found on saws of later date.  In addition, I know of only one other saw with arch design of the maker's trademark stamp.

Applewood handle with three coves.

Two Standard and one Label Screw.

The Label Screw reads:

WARRANTED
Eagle engraving and two stars in the center
