Philip W. Baker is a
longtime tool collector. He specializes in
American saws. He is a member of various tool
collector's clubs and associations, including Early
American Industries Association (EAIA), and Mid-West
Tool Collectors Association (M-WTCA). He studies and writes
extensively about history of American saws in variety of
publications. His articles can be found in The
Chronicle, The Gristmill, Fine Tool Journal and
other trade periodicals.

Baker serves as a Chairman of Preservation and Education
Committee for Mid-West Tool Collectors Association.
In 2005 Philip was presented with The Marion Henley Award
by M-WTCA - the highest member honor - for his work and
contributions to M-WTCA.
