Gluing the Knobs

We have come to the last step in making the chest. Gluing on the knobs. Since the knobs are made of polyester I needed glue that would adhere to plastic. I got a product called E6000 from the local hobby store. Using a dental pick I filled each hole in the drawer with the glue taking care not to get any on the drawer front. The boss on the knob is inserted in the hole and turned a couple of times to get uniform coverage. The knob is then clamped for about eight hours. After the glue cured I tried moderate force and the knobs held.
